The International Cooperation Department is pleased to announce that the Medical University of Białystok has purchased 12 months (November 10, 2025 to November 9, 2026) of access to the BrowZine e-journal browsing application.
The purchase was made as part of the project entitled “The world at your fingertips. Access to global platforms and educational tools” prepared by the International Cooperation Department, which was launched on October 1 this year thanks to funding from the National Agency for Academic Exchange.
The BrowZine application developed by Third Iron LLC is a modern tool supporting access to scientific literature, enabling users to browse academic journals and build individual collections of publications. It provides easy access and interactive navigation through a variety of scientific publications and electronic journals. With intuitive search functions, personalized notifications, and interactive reading options, BrowZine allows for convenient browsing of content, adapting to user preferences. The application supports effective management of scientific information sources and facilitates tracking of the latest research and publications. The application is available only in English and is characterized by its modernity, because in addition to traditional browser access, it can also be used on mobile devices that are attractive to students and widely available.
BrowZine is an intuitive tool that allows you to sort and browse journal titles by category. When you click on a specific item, the table of contents is displayed, and the content of the article can be downloaded or shared via the most popular global social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter). For example, when you click on the Anatomy and Physiology category, all journals (titles and cover thumbnails) to which the university has purchased access or which are available in open access are displayed. At this stage, it is also possible to filter by more detailed categories. Another interesting feature is the ability to collect selected titles on a virtual “bookshelf,” so that users will not miss any titles that interest them.
Members of our academic community have been able to use the BrowZine application since 2020.
Access to the application has been made available via the university network, controlled by IP addresses, which means that anyone on this network will be able to use its functionality. Link to BrowZine: https://browzine.com/libraries/2095/subjects
