This year Main Library of the Medical University of Bialystok provides the access to electronic books on many different platforms:
AccessMedicine® from McGraw-Hill is an innovative online resource that provides students, residents, clinicians, researchers, and all health professionals with access to more than 60 medical titles from the best minds in medicine, updated content, thousands of images and illustrations, interactive self-assessment, case files, diagnostic tools, a comprehensive search platform, and the ability to view from and download content to a mobile device.
Updated frequently and expanded continuously by world-renowned physicians, AccessMedicine provides fast, direct access to the information necessary for completing evaluations, diagnoses, and case management decisions, as well as for pursuing research, medical education, or self-assessment and board review.
Each Authorized User may:
access, search, browse and view the Subscribed Products;
print, make electronic copies of and store for the exclusive use of such Authorized User individual items from the Subscribed Products;
incorporate links to the Subscribed Products on the Subscriber’s intranet and internet websites[If academic / medical w/school, add: and in electronic coursepacks, reserves and course management systems and instructor websites], provided that the appearance of such links and/or statements accompanying such links shall be changed as reasonably requested by Elsevier;
pull figures, images, and tables from the ClinicalKey™ online service into the ClinicalKey Presentation MakerTM for use in the creation of internal or external presentations and for training purposes, by or for the benefit of the Subscriber provided that the Authorized User obtains permission for such use of the ClinicalKey online service content that is credited to a third-party, from Elsevier, and provided that each copy of the presentation shall carry appropriate credit to the owner; and all such uses are non-commercial; and
access, search, browse, view, print, make electronic copies and store for the exclusive use of such Authorized User or, if the Authorized User is a librarian/information specialist, for the exclusive use of another Authorized User, certain content from the ClinicalKey online service that is not subscribed to as part of the Subscribed Products by using credits purchased by the Subscriber (“Credits”), with each use of the applicable number of Credits being an “Action” that entitles the Authorized User to exercise the rights granted in this clause with respect to such content for a twenty-four (24) hour period (the “Pre-Paid Draw Down Service”)
Restrictions on Use of Subscribed Products.
Except as expressly stated in this Agreement or otherwise permitted in writing by Elsevier, the Subscriber and its Authorized Users may not:
abridge, modify, translate or create any derivative work based on the Subscribed Products, except to the extent necessary to make them perceptible on a computer screen to Authorized Users;
remove, obscure or modify in any way any copyright notices, other notices or disclaimers as they appear in the Subscribed Products;
use any robots, spiders, crawlers or other automated downloading programs, algorithms or devices to continuously and automatically search, scrape, extract, deep link, index or disrupt the working of the Subscribed Products; or
substantially or systematically reproduce, retain or redistribute the Subscribed Products.

Except as provided above, Users may not copy, distribute, transmit or otherwise reproduce material from Electronic Journals and, or Books; store such material in any form or medium in a retrieval system; download and/or store an entire issue of an Electronic Journal and/or an Electronic Book or its equivalent; or transmit such material, directly or indirectly, for use in any paid service (such as document delivery or information brokerage service) or for systematic distribution (such as a list serve), whether for commercial or nonprofit use.
