AccessSurgery and AccessEmergencyMedicine are platfoms, which have been very popular among our students in previous years. An important target group of McGraw-Hill Medical is the medical industry, hence the solutions such as Access database, which includes access to textbooks (also e-books), videos, knowledge tests and other, the most prominent scientific content in the field of emergency ( AccessEmergencyMedicine), as well as surgery (AccessSurgery). Access medical site is a solution, which is considered to be the most practical collection of publications available on a given topic, available in a convinient online form. In addition to the offered substantive value of the databases, another important element they provide is the availability in a convenient online form via university servers, but also via the so-called HAN server, which allows the use of databases at home after logging into the university account.
Browzine application is another modern and interactive tool, available only in English, which was bought once more as a part of „Knowledge without borders.” project. This unique application allows full use of the resources offered by the University Library. The platform developed by Third Iron LLC enables easy access and interactive navigation of various scientific publications, as well as electronic journals, wchich are accessible not only in the browser version but also on mobile devices. Browzine allows you to sort and browse magazine titles by category, the table of contents is easily accessible and the article content can be downloaded or shared via some social media (Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter).
